Job Description:
1.Directs Line Management to ensure safety procedures are followed in departments, that employees receive appropriate safety/PPE training, enforces health and safety rules and procedures. Requires line management participation in inspections, demonstrates commitment to Health and Safety by personal behavior and observes safety policies, reports unsafe acts. .Develop and implement procedures to increase effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
2. Ensures quality targets are met or exceeded by proactively improving processes and carrying out quick corrective action when opportunities are identified.
Develop and implement yearly quality and productivity objectives and cost reduction/control programs. Adhere to budget requirements.
3.Ensure proper staffing for the efficient operation of all shifts and departments. Generate productivity reports.
4.Ensure all associates have safe, efficient equipment needed to perform their functions in a safe manner and also meet quality expectations. Upholds all OSHA regulations regarding environmental health and safety.
5. Responsible for disciplinary process to ensure a productive labor climate in the operation.
6. Maintains works area clean and organized
7.Recommend equipment requirements and replacements to Site Manager.
8.Train, develop and manage supervisory staff. Ensure management excellence and consistency in application of all local policies and procedures.
9. Supports the BSC(Balance score card) metrics.
Requirmrnts:

Strong ethics
10.Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, technical background, Fluent in oral and written English
11.5+ years experience in a Manufacturing leadership/managerial role at a multinational company
Demonstrated strategic ability, business acumen and change leadership capability.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set; Good ability to effectively manage relationships
